Fireplace Doors
Fireplace doors are available in a multitude of styles, shapes, textures and finishes to suit your personal style and décor- some glass doors offer optional mesh doors (or gate mesh) as opposed to the sliding mesh. Glass colors vary from clear, bronze, gray or black by manufacturer. Door styles vary Cabinet style, Fullview, or Bifold. Some doors may have the option of high temperature and heat releasing Neoceram glass or more affordable tempered glass. Masonry doors are designed for full masonry(generally brick or stone) fireplaces with brick or clay tile chimneys; Pre-fab doors are for the manufactured pre-fabricated metal fireplaces common in many homes – each door is designed for a specific fireplace type. Inside fit indicates the door will fit inside the fireplace opening of a masonry fireplace; overlap fit (overlaps the opening of the fireplace) may be for masonry or pre-fab as noted by the door manufacturer. Inside doors are generally more expensive as they are manufactured to the exact opening of your fireplace.
